Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2.0 Season 4 has been blown wide open by Activision, confirming players can look forward to a crossover with TV show The Boys among other goodies.
Season 4 Reloaded will launch on July 12 at 12.00PM EST/5.00PM BST, and allows players to hop into the boots of Starlight, Homelander, or Black Noir from The Boys. Each Operator bundle will set you back 2,400 COD Points.
Meanwhile, the Temp V serum from the show will grant users superpowers for a limited time, and is picked from one of the following at random for your Field Upgrade slot: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, and Teleport.
Modern Warfare 2’s Multiplayer will add a new core 6v6 map known as Vondel Waterfront. Here’s what Activision had to say on the map:
Operators cannot swim underneath the houseboats and need to keep action mostly on ‘land’ — that is, the pontoon homes on the water and the decks connecting this district together. Additionally, several of the buildings are boarded up, and two of the available four traversable buildings have new coats of paint – Red and Blue – that mark the most prominent positions on the map.
Players will also be able to tackle Raid Episode 04, which is the final chapter in the Special OPs Atomgrad narrative. Finally, Season 4 Reloaded introduces a new Gulag that takes place in Vondel castle’s wine cellar and dungeon, and the Signals Intelligence Contract, the Portable Redeploy Drone, and Occupation Scan all make a comeback.
