Rumours about the inclusion of The Boys’ Homelander appearing in Mortal Kombat 1 as a DLC character have reemerged once again, this time on the official TikTok account for the popular TV show.
As previously reported, The Boys is coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 for Season 4 Reloaded, and in response to someone asking about the MK1 rumours, the amount responded, “MK confirmed.”
While NetherRealm Studios hasn’t confirmed Homelander’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 yet, it does seem quite likely the character will be turning up based on the mounting evidence.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023. The game takes place in a brand new reality established by Fire God Liu Kang, which sees familiar characters returning with new relationships and story arcs.
NetherRealm recently confirmed that Smoke and Rain have joined the main roster, while new Kameo fighters include Cyrax and Sector.
