Ubisoft has emerged from the shadows with a brand new look at Assassin’s Creed Mirage, this time shining the spotlight on its main protagonist, the Master Assassin Basim.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the character, Assassin’s Creed Mirage chronicles Basim’s humble beginnings as a cunning street thief to a seasoned assassin, so we get a look at what shaped the character prior to his actions in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad, and sees Basim becoming embroiled in the war against the Templar Order. The game’s developers are making a conscious effort to bring the series back to its roots with Mirage, replacing the sprawling open-world setting with a focus on linear storytelling and stealth gameplay.
Ubisoft will publish Assassin’s Creed Mirage for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 12, 2023.
