Asobo Studio has revealed on LinkedIn that it’s hiring for a number of positions, suggesting the company is working on A Plague Tale 3 following this success of the previous two games.
Many of the jobs are for the Microsoft Flight Simulator team, but there’s some notable openings for the Plague Team, including VFX Artist, Senior Game Designer, Senior AI Programmer, and Senior Gameplay Animator.
Of course, it’s worth remembering that A Plague Tale 3 hasn’t been official yet, so don’t take this as a confirmation that Asobo Studio is actually working on the game. Still, the fact the jobs mentioned above are for the Plague Team, there’s a good chance it’s happening.
A Plague Tale: Innocence was released in May 2019 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and was ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S two years later with various performance improvements. The sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem, hit PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in October 2022.
