Bokeh Game Studio Shares Slitterhead Pre-Alpha Footage In Latest Dev Diary

Bokeh Game Studio has shared a fresh batch of Slitterhead footage in a new developer diary focussing on test sessions for the upcoming psychological horror title, giving us our first proper glimpse at the game since its unveiling at The Game Awards 2021.

While the footage is taken from a pre-Alpha build of Slitterhead, it does offer us a brief look at the game’s combat, with the character fighting off a series of grotesque foes using blood-fused weapons.

Bokeh Game Studios was formed by Keiichiro Toyama, who is best known as the creator of the original Silent Hill. According to Toyama-san and game director Junya Okura, Slitterhead “doesn’t fully enter the horror genre,” but rather “spans over multiple genres where horror is experienced.”

While not much else is known on Slitterhead right now, we do know that its soundtrack will be composed by Akira Yamaoka, who spent years working on the score for the Silent Hill franchise.
