Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 has sold two million copies worldwide following its launch in early June. The game had reached one million copies sold after one week on sale.
The news comes following the announcement earlier this week that Street Fighter 6’s Rashid DLC will be released on July 24.
Street Fighter 6 is the latest entry in Capcom’s hugely successful fighting game series, and introduces a wealth of new content into the mix, including new characters and a modernised control scheme. In addition to the bread-and-butter brawling, the game also houses its own RPG known as World Tour, where players explore the streets of Metro City while fighting with local goons and learning new techniques from classic Street Fighter characters.
Capcom will continue to support Street Fighter 6 in the coming months with new DLC characters, with the first batch taking us through until Winter 2024.
